Applicants can contact the Admissions Office to obtain copies of past essay packets*. Each packet includes the complete set of essay questions (9 essays) for a given exam, and the grading outline for each essay. The cost of these materials is $35** per set. You may order multiple sets as the essay questions are different each exam. Additionally, there are commercial bar exam preparation courses. The Board of Bar Examiners does not supply information on these vendors, though you may contact your law school for more information.

*The Board of Bar Examiners retains the copyright to all past essay packets. Current applicants may obtain the packets as set forth above for their personal bar review use only. Other use of these materials, without the express written consent of the Board of Bar Examiners is strictly prohibited.

**In recent exam administrations, Oregon has been using some Multi-state Essay Exam (MEE) questions. For these questions, the same review materials may not be available and the corresponding costs for these sets has been reduced. Please contact Admissions staff for more details at admissions@osbar.org.

The Board of Bar Examiners does not endorse any one bar review course over another.
