The Oregon State Bar has great news! The OSB Board of Governors has decided that the BarBooks™ online library is such an important resource for bar members that it should be a member benefit included as part of your regular bar dues, beginning Jan. 1, 2011. You can purchase a subscription through the end of 2010 for yourself, if you are a sole practitioner, or for your firm. Simply log in for customized pricing. If you do not have an OSB online account, create one now.

Why do I need BarBooks™?
  • To locate the research you need right from your desk, or anywhere you have Internet access, 24/7.
  • To save precious billable hours by eliminating trips to the library and time poring through print publications.
  • To increase your certainty that you have researched every avenue because you can access all the legal publications at once.
  • To represent your clients with complete confidence.

What books will I have access to with BarBooks™?

You will be able to browse and search all titles published by the OSB Legal Publications Department.
A complete list of titles is available here in PDF format.

BarBooks™ will be updated every time one of these titles is supplemented or revised, and each new supplement or revision will usually be posted before the print book is available! Plus any new titles released by the OSB Legal Publications Department will be added to BarBooks™. This means BarBooks™ will be updated 8 to 10 times during the term of a one-year subscription.
